All
qualified ADIs are called for a check test on
a regular basis. After you qualify you will be
invited for your first check test known as an
educational. At this test the Supervising Examiner
will sit in on a lesson conducted by you with
a pupil. At the end of the lesson the pupil will
wait in the test center and the SE will discuss
your lesson and offer advice where appropriate.
You will not be graded at this first check test
but if the lesson was below an acceptable level
you maybe required to reappear. The next time
you are called for a check test your grading needs
to be 4. 5 or 6 being the highest. Grades of 1,
2 or 3 are unacceptable and you will be required
to attend another check test. If your second test
is still below the required standard you will
have to attend a third and final check test conducted
by the Chief Examiner. Failure to achieve a grade
of 4. 5 or 6 will probably mean your removal from
the ADI register and right to work as a driving
instructor.

test please contact us by phone or email for assistance.
